Ellen Andrews:

I would like to nominate myself to run for the Member At Large Board Position. 

I have been a member of the Parrot Heads of the Triad since June 1999, the same year our club was sanctioned by the Parrot Heads in Paradise (PHIP).  I have been an active member in the club and would now like to represent all members and serve as a representative on the Board of Directors.  I will work with the other elected Board members to ensure our club abides by our own club guidelines and by-laws of PHIP.   

One purpose of the Member At Large Position is to serve as a liaison between the membership and the Board of Directors.  I will work to ensure that any member’s concern or suggestion will be presented to the Board Members.  If anonymity is requested, I will honor that request from the club member.     

I have enjoyed being a member of the Parrot Heads of the Triad and look forward to serving as the club’s Member At Large.

 Nancy says that I need to write a paragraph about myself. So here goes:

I was born a poor Parrothead in a log cabin (with a thatched roof). My
 Parrothead parents were so broke that they had to share the one pair of
 flip-flops that the family owned. When they sent me to college I was so
 poor that I could not afford ALCOHOL!!!I could only afford Buffet tickets
 by selling my body on the streets(that's how I met Rhonda).
 Now I have worked my way up to unemployed bum and I guess that now I have
 the time to help the club. We have some fun places to go to these
 days(boy,was I impressed with Boomerz the other day) and I hope that we
 can put the 'party' back into "party with a purpose".

 Well, gotta go- Rhonda and I are making snow margarittas. FINS UP!!!!
